The stories just pop into my head. I keep a notebook by me at all times, sometimes they come from dreams, other times when I'm out walking. But they are all stories that mean something to me. Either from a spiritual sense or historical sense. I feel a connection to what I write.

Creativity. I'm an artist by trade, so illustrated and taught art for many years. Then as storytelling took over I found it gave me a larger scope to fulfil that creative need.

I do get bored easily, so I have several projects on the go at once. Not sure I can say I've ever really suffered from writer's block, but moving from one book to another, or illustration to another really helps. I write historical romance as well, and children's fiction, though am in the process of getting them published, which also keeps me busy.
