R.J. Cook Nice shot, Mr A!! The trick is to value every moment, no matter how brief, how fleeting. Such as time spent with old friends, always too abbreviated but influxed with an energy unmatched anywhere else. Peace out, till our next reunion!
R.J. Cook My most recent book, Dream Lover and Other Tales, is a collection of short stories. Some of the entries have been with me for years while a few are newer to my catalog. Rather than have them parked in my computer as a series of bytes, serving no purpose whatsoever, I decided to compile them into one collection that I presented to my publisher, who approved the idea.

R.J. Cook I usually have several projects going on at once, mostly short stories, plus I produce and maintain a monthly online magazine, hREALITY Land, and pen a monthly column for it, The Life Around Me. Keeps me busy.
R.J. Cook I consider myself an aspiring writer. Simply, never be satisfied. Read everything you write and tell yourself you could have done better.
R.J. Cook Seeing your words work. Telling a story or a thought in prose is affirmation to the very essence of the soul of a writer.
R.J. Cook My approach has been to ignore it, or rather, not acknowledge it. In the past I discovered that the more I dwelt on it, the more intense and prolonged it became. As time past, I realized that refusing to consider it a condition made me more capable of getting past it.
