Recognize the difference between a dream and an aspiration. The most beautiful works of art have always been born out of dreams, and not aspirations. They are never planned. A true writer is one who brims with perceptions, and these perceptions overflow quite naturally into the unconscious language he has imbibed from his reading. So, engage with your perceptions and with life at the ground level. Do more of what you love to do. And read extensively!
