Wow, that's a hard question since I've come across several fictional couples in my day, but I'll go with a present popular couple from the Outlander series, Jamie and Claire. They have faced so many obstacles to loving each other and yet they do.
There is another couple I love, but they are in role-play realms. Their story is one of falling in love despite their own beliefs of how things should be and learning to live in each other's "world", to compromise because the love is so pure they can't walk away.

Writer's block is only as powerful as we allow it to be. For me, I found it works to write dialogue, a conversation, between two characters, no descriptions. It doesn't matter if it's a conversation between characters in the current story or if it's relevant to where you are in the story, though that certainly helps. It feels productive to be writing and it sparks ideas to get me over the hurdle. I do not believe my characters take over. That's not possible because I am the one driving them, not the other way around, but I do believe this exercise of restraint free writing opens the author's mind to possibilities that maybe the previous outline is hindering. You cannot force a scene in the story if it's not supported properly and this is usually where a block occurs in my experience, where I have written myself into a corner. Delete everything that your gut tells you was a struggle and start over from where you still felt happy with it. The first time you do that hurts, but it's so effective you'll never hesitate again.

There's no time clock to punch and it's fun to be creative, to get excited when story ideas pop into your head.

Just do it. Study the craft by reading any helpful books or blogs on writing by other authors, especially authors you love to read. Be mindful, though, that what works for you may be different than what works for them, but in general there are pitfalls that most new writers fall into and these tips will help build a ladder to crawl back out of those holes. Be open minded on critiques and follow what makes sense to you.

I have two stories that need a little editing, so I have that. I'm also gradually working on two other stories in raw writing. I have another one in my head that is begging to be written, but it's more sci-fi and I haven't tackled that genre yet. I do love writing fantasy, but haven't finished a novel in that genre yet.

Ideas pop into my head and those are my inspiration, plus it doesn't hurt to want to be an author and entertain people through reading.

For 'Unlocking the Heart' I wanted to have a heroine that wasn't on the up and up.
