I have a backlog of over 20 books that I've written that I want to release but I'm always writing new screenplays and books too!

My two movies are on Tubi and Amazon Prime and I'm trying to put together another one soon!

I watch movies, listen to music, read, work a regular job, study martial arts... usually an idea for a story comes from a coalescing of experiences or a concept from a movie that I thought of a different angle for.

It's much cheaper to put out a book than it is to make a film and you're not constrained by practicality. That's why my stuff tends to get big and silly in places where my movies are forced to rely on what I can accomplish cheaply and easily...

Just keep writing, even if it might not work. Have the discipline to do something every day no matter your mood.

Read a lot of books, watch a lot of movies, understand how plot works in stages and figure out what you are trying to say beyond the basic surface. Take courses, practice, practice, practice. Live a little first to have some life experience to draw on.
