My most recent book is still in the works. But the idea for The Painted Verse actually was my friend and co-author/artist Pankaj Kumar Saxena's idea. We used to often find inspiration in each other's works. He had painted some works based on my poems, and I had written some poems inspired by some of his artwork. And bingo! The idea emerged. I find a lot of inspiration for my writing in nature, and also in human emotions, and many a times, in even the most mundane aspects of life.
