Walk-a-bout. Yes it's an Australian thing, but I find that inspiration is all around. Walking makes me slow down and watch the world. Then I begin asking 'What if' and boom a story idea in a single question that I want to find an answer to.

Having your creation in your hands after hours of hard work. I'll man up and say I was all teary eyed over my first physical copy of my book, it was surreal.

For me Writers block comes in 2 forms:
1. A lack of preperation. Ie Outline, character profiles, ect

2. A Lack of oatmeal cookies. I swear my brain runs off of them.

Believe it or not: Real Life. I walk around with a little notebook and ask 'What If...?' and write them down. The best stories have a hinting at real world emotions, in my opinion.
