R.J. Eliason I am currently reading Lindsay Buroker's Sky Full of Stars series and liking it. There are a lot, so maybe that will be my summer reading list.
I also just ordered Rise of the Dungeon Master from Amazon. It's a graphic novel about the life of D&D creator Gary Gigax. Can't wait to read it. It looks awesome.
R.J. Eliason Just do it! Start writing today. You will get better with time and practice, but there are no short cuts.
R.J. Eliason I am very ADHD. I have learned to compensate and it doesn't bother me as much as it once did. Part of my compensation is that I've developed a uniquely scattered approach to writing. I will have multiple projects in various stages and move from one to another depending on my mood. I am currently working on a rough draft of the next season of the Galactic Consortium serial. And a new project for Wattpad that is epic fantasy. And a couple other side projects that will be published under another pen name. So yeah, a bit of this and a bit of that. ;-)
R.J. Eliason When someone tells me to pay attention I can say, "shut up, I'm working." ;-)
R.J. Eliason I write everyday, on something. If I am stuck on my current work in progress I write something else. I write in my journal. I write short stories occasionally. I often work on more than one thing at a time. It's a very scattered way to work, but it keeps me writing and prevents me from being blocked.
R.J. Eliason I was talking to my son (who is as much of a geek as I am) about a series idea and he kept bringing up new ideas. I was working on the first book in a trilogy when we started talking and by the end of the conversation had ideas for the second two books as well.
R.J. Eliason Coffee. How else?
