Hello!
I am very much a plotter, and I call myself an Extreme Outliner, so characters and character development are things I like to have already figured out before I write the first draft. For main characters, their character arcs are so entwined with the plot that it's pretty much impossible for me to not plan their development.
For more minor characters, their traits are less planned, like their mannerisms and such, but I still like to have an idea of who they are while I'm outlining.

Right now I'm reading a lot of Fantasy books. Sometimes I venture into other types of books but I always seem to find my way back to wizards and dragons. As far as they types of stories, I'm really enjoying writing my first fantasy series. It's very different from contemporary but I really love it. I love writing about the issues of teenagers in my stories, weather it's the issues of a young wizard growing into his magic or a teen from earth dealing with growing up.

I think I'd go to Narnia, because I could spend as much time there as I like. I think I'd explore as much as I could and I'd spend some time on the ocean, maybe even on the Dawn Treader. One thing's for sure, I'd eat a ton of Turkish Delight.

Lots! I hope to get through The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit! Also The Death Cure by James Dashner and I want to start the Throne of Glass series!

When I'm not feeling in the mood for writing, sometimes I like to free write or thought dump and just type wherever I'm thinking. This helps me get in the right mindset for writing. It's also helpful to look over my outline to see if my problem is that I don't know what I'm doing next or maybe this scene isn't right for the story.

I like listening to music as I write. I create lots of different playlists for different types of scenes. That really helps get me in the mood to write something.
