I suppose I never thought of it as anything but an assignment at school, university, even my acting class. It was only recently when I realised I actually love writing. I love making people laugh and creating a world where I could escape when I wanted to.

It was quite funny. I was on the train home coming back from a night out which wasn't nearly as fun as I wanted it to be. I was dozing off and I started envisioning possible scenarios at the hotel bar that would have been more fun and eventually started writing them all down. One of them would later be the first scene of the book. I'm not going to spoil it for people, so you should read it first.
