I always loved to write, but was intimidated by the prosepct of a whole book. After reading so many books in this genre that are self-published, I got the confidence to try it myself. I'm so glad I did because now I know writing is something I love to do.

So I consider myself an aspiring writer as well. I think what helped me the most was to set goals. If you are not committed to a date, then it is so easy to keep procrastinating. Achieving your goal provides such a sense of accomplishment.

The best thing about being a writer is that I get to do what I love and my readers get to enjoy it also. There is nothing more satisfying than receiving great feedback on a story. It makes it all worth it.

If I can't figure out what to write next, I will get involved in an activity that lets me clear my head, like bicycling. Then my thoughts start drifting back to the story and ideas start to formulate.
