If I could travel to a fictional book world, it would be Caldwell, New York in J R Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood series. I would spend time with King Wrath in the Brotherhood mansion and join them in the fight to protect the vampire community from the impending threat of the Lessers Society.

My ideas for Enjoying the Moment, my most recent book, was inspired by my encounters with people that were having problems maintaining relationships with people that had hurt or betrayed them. I always encourage people to learn to enjoy spending time with people and not focus on the mistakes that have been made. Enjoy the moment for what it is, that moment.

My advice for aspiring writers is to never give up. Be confident in the fact that you have a voice and your voice matters. Just know that it is a long, hard process, but when you meet someone that tells how much your work has affected them, it will be worth it all.

When I have writer's block, I try to become more observant of what's going on around me. I pay more attention to social interactions when I'm out in a crowd and public places. There is always something noticed that will give me cause to think and analyze.
