Minter Dial Every week, I tend to publish about 2000 words. It's a discipline, but it's also a great way to (a) test material and (b) push myself to explore and research.

Otherwise, I feel that writing books is more like a journey, especially when as a co-author. I love going off to a quiet spot to write... as much therapy as pleasure. I still have one unpublished novel to surface and am currently working on another book... More therapy, and yes more deadlines. But the pleasure remains strong!
Minter Dial I tend to have several pieces/articles going at the same time. That way, I can choose to pick up different themes according to my mood. Otherwise, going out for a walk, listening to a podcast on another topic and/or meeting someone new are my favourite ways to stimulate the mind.
Minter Dial Write because you enjoy it.
Minter Dial Futureproof was a joint work. Caleb (co-author) and I wanted to write a book that would be useful to people in all manner of businesses. We were keyed up on making sure there were concrete action plans for every chapter. Our editor and publisher came up with the title!
Minter Dial Although it's early days, I'm stewing over a third book that will be about how to create a sustainable brand all the while living a fulfilling life.
