Adam J. Simpson The handy part about writing multiple story lines into the one book is that if I get stuck on one part I can always work on another arc. Coming back to the problematic one later on stop me from 'forcing' myself to write which tends to lead to poor work.
Adam J. Simpson Sons book two, which is yet to be named. Hoping for this one to be longer than the last, I have a whole lot going on and don't want anything to feel rushed as far as the plot goes.

Also have a new super top secret project on a back burner...
Adam J. Simpson From all kinds of things. I find inspiration in movies, other books. Most media really. Music is good too. I don't know if it is just me but music can really hit a switch that makes me need to go be creative.

Adam J. Simpson Write badly, serious I really don't need the competition!

Or, more helpfully I tend to try and live by Terry Pratchett's advice to new authors - "Write 500 words a day. No excuses."

Sometimes I don't write 500 words a day, but I never make excuses. So I am like 50% of the way there.
