Thank you Soooooo very much! Entered contest and won "The Nighthawkers" ... it was the best thing I've done in a long while. I am having so much fun with your words and pinning together of characters. Kudos, great job. Again, thank you so much. I appreciate your writing talent. How did you get your talent, by the way?

Amy L. Bernstein Judy, I'm so happy you are enjoying The Nighthawkers! I had so much fun writing it and researching all that archaeology--and finding the artifacts. Most of them are real! I think talent is a combination of what you're naturally good at and a lot of hard work to get better. Other than that...it's a mystery! I hope you'll post reviews and recommend the book to friends. Keep an eye on me, because I have more books coming (but not another romance, alas).

Amy, when did you realize yourself as a writer? After writing first book, publishing , success or …? You know this feeling inside «I am truly a writer»

Amy L. Bernstein Ciao, Mariia. Congratulations on becoming an author! I wrote nonfiction professionally for many years, and turned to fiction (first, playwriting) about a dozen years ago. I've never really felt I could call myself a "writer." It seemed like an exaggeration. But now, finally, after writing three novels that are going to be published, I've decided I can finally call myself a writer and not feel weird about it.

Hi Amy..great to meet you. I am also a YA author. Love the way you introduced yourself. WIll check it out. Love to connect more..I write Contemporary YA around social issues for 12 and up. Tent City looks intense. Where do you get your ideas for stories from?

Amy L. Bernstein Thanks for reaching out, Melanie! My ideas come from the news and sometimes what I'm worrying about inside my head. I don't really know where they come from, to be honest. What about you? What are you writing? Should we cross-promote on social media? I don't like how crass this business has become, but it's what we have to do, right?
