Anytime I have writers block I focus on the five senses and what the character is experiencing. What can they taste, see, smell, hear, touch? That usually gives me a good picture of what is going on in the scene and I can build on that.

Personally, I've never had any trouble finding inspiration because I see it everywhere, but in the rare instances that I do I try flipping a situation on it's head an viewing it another way. Asking the question 'what if' can also be very helpful-what if he didn't come to pick her up at the bus stop? What would that mean, and so on.

When I was pregnant with my first child someone said to me that "You only get to work hand in hand with God to create life a handful of times'. That really struck a chord with me and I started thinking, "What if it wasn't God and love that was the driving force behind a child's conception?" I thought that was really compelling and started writing down ideas and then it turned into this amazing thing.

Currently, I am working on the second book in the Earthwalker Trilogy, Angels Lament. I'm so much fun writing about Wynn's character and can't wait to see what kind of trouble she gets herself into:)
