Oh gosh, I have no idea. There are so many great fictional worlds out there. My knee jerk answer would be Middle Earth. But I have always loved the world of The Frogoten Realms novels. Or Terry Brooks Landover. Then there's a world I'm currently building for a series of novels that I'd love to visit and I hope my readers will to.

Join a writing group and check your ego at the door. I love my writing group and I think one reason is because we are all genuinely looking for ways to help each other succeed and better our craft. Also I would advise, especially for self-publishing authors, to invest in a copy editor, they are worth every penny.

A lot of my inspiration comes from studying pictures and wondering what is going on in the scene the artiest has drawn. Also I tend to ask myself a lot of “what if” questions, which gets my imagination and thought processes going.
