L.C. Perry Hi! Unfortunately, my books aren't on there. I'm not sure if I plan on doing so in the future, but thanks so much for trying to leave a review there :)
L.C. Perry Great question! Normally, whenever I have some idea for a plot, I start writing out the characters. If I'm able to write out characters and plan out scenes as well as adding detail to the plot, then it's a novel I'm capable of writing. If I get stuck along the way, then it may be a novel idea that I have to drop. I always plan something before I start writing and depending on the genre, that can dictate how much I plan out before starting. Nowadays, I also do chapter outlines as I write in order to keep myself organized.
My greatest advice I think is to jot down every idea for a character, scene, plot twist, etc. that comes in your head and see if you can make a story or stories out of it.
Hope this helps! :)
L.C. Perry I tend to get my inspiration and ideas from all over the place. With my novels, my ideas develop from a mixture of tv shows I've watched, books I've read, music I've listened to, etc. I might even get inspired by a topic that's been covered in one of my classes! Because I get these ideas from so many different sources, it's sometimes hard for me to say exactly where I get the idea from, but I usually ask myself, "What works for me that I've seen from other works and how can I make it my own?" or "What is an idea I personally have not seen yet and want to see written?"

In my published stories, I've gotten my ideas from shows like Avatar, other YA novels, anime, and I even used preferences from readers to help develop ideas. If you are stuck on your story, I would focus on trying to get inspired from what you see, read, and listen to. There are ideas everywhere, it's just a matter of trying to find them. I hope this helps and good luck! :)
L.C. Perry Great question! So for me, my inspiration comes largely from other books and everyday life. Occasionally, I'll have ideas for characters from a TV show or anime I've watched but plot-wise, I get it from my surroundings. After reading so many books, I know what my preferences are and whenever I'm trying to find a story that's meets all my requirements, an idea will pop up and I'll ask myself, "Well, why don't I write it myself?" The everyday life part comes in because I may have learned something from school or from news stories and it will spark an idea for me. Other times I might work a plot around a character I really want to create and the rest just follows ;)

L.C. Perry Riis definitely! He's such a positive and funny person to be around. I won't even be able to get depressed about being stranded, I'll be too busy laughing at whatever it is he's doing. His ability would come in handy too :)
L.C. Perry Hi Reyna! To answer your question, I chose to start writing when I was in seventh grade. I found out in sixth grade that I loved to make my own stories and characters. We were given writing assignments each week and I always wrote a lot more than I needed to. In seventh grade, I started writing my first novel and I actually got the idea from a dream I had. I thought the dream was interesting, so much so that I had to start making a story out of it. I also thought it would be really cool to start writing a book at age thirteen :) The book I have out right now is actually the third book I've ever written.
L.C. Perry Most of my inspiration comes from reading, but it can also help to watch some shows. Books are basically movies in your head so it doesn't hurt to watch actual movies as well :)
L.C. Perry Do a lot of free writing! I've only been utilizing this method for a year and if I could go back in time, I would have done it a lot more. Free writing can really help if you ever feel stuck or disheartened. It's amazing how writing nonstop can help. Just keep writing. It doesn't matter if you've run out of things to say, it doesn't even have to make sense! Just keep going and going and eventually the ideas will start pouring out.
L.C. Perry Hmm I'm not sure exactly how I came up with the idea of creating this trilogy, but it's influenced by a number of factors. For this series, I really wanted a journey to look for characters and I thought the idea of breaking forbidden laws was enticing.
After this trilogy, there is a another series I'm working on and I think I got the idea for this one from an anime I watched ^.^ It's about a specific character who's about to have a major wakeup call, but that's all I'll say for now ;)
L.C. Perry I'm currently working on the final book of the Metamorphosis trilogy. Majority of it is done, there's just a few parts I need to figure out :)
L.C. Perry Creating your own universe! It's an amazing feeling when you put your imagination on paper. I love the fact that I was able to create a whole world in my mind - that this plot, these characters, this environment, all came from my head. My initial reason for becoming a writer was fueled on that belief.

L.C. Perry Hmm I usually take a break. I try to read more since reading good books usually inspires me to get back to writing as soon as possible. I'm actually currently struggling with a writer's block, but I'm not worried. They all pass eventually :)
