I wish it was coming out this summer but I've experienced a few set backs with the writing, so I'm still hoping my publisher can have it out before the end of this year. Sorry, for the delay. Life gets in the way of my fantasy. ;)

I'm so happy to hear that, Sharon! My publisher is working to get book 2 out by December 2016! There was a chance that it wouldn't come out until late spring of 2017 so I was thrilled to learn that Red Moon will be out this year.

I draw creative inspiration from movies, book, myths, legends and my own crazy mind. Other motivation comes from my family. I want to encourage my children to reach for their dreams and never believe it's too late to try.

Read, read, read and then read some more. Then write, read, write, read, etc. There is no better way to learn and grow as a writer than to learn and grow as a reader.

I love creating characters that my readers can cheer for, fall in love with, fear or hate. Interacting with readers is another aspect of being a writer that I rank high on the list.

I simply created a couple of interesting characters and placed them in a difficult situation and went from there. I'm a Pants-er for the first book for sure. The following books take a little bit of planning since there are now parameters in place that were not there for the creation of the first book.
