Rebecca D. Bruner My most recent book, A Wife of Valor, is a compilation of lessons I've taught to women's groups over the course of many years. Much of it is lessons I had to learn the hard way. I want younger women to benefit from my experience and, I hope, avoid some of the mistakes I made early in my marriage. Once you begin to see that there is a real enemy, and it's not your husband, when you stop competing against your spouse, and start recognizing that he is your ally, it can revolutionize your marriage.
Rebecca D. Bruner Most often, I get inspiration from the Bible. Things I have studied, and the lives of the biblical characters tend to spark my imagination.
Rebecca D. Bruner Write from the heart and seek the community of other writers. The Creator designed you to be creative. Trust that design and seek to create with Him, instead of on your own.
Rebecca D. Bruner I've found that the best way to deal with writer's block is to get out of the house and write at a location without outside distractions. The public library has been a good environment for me. Even though there are other people around, there are not other jobs there (like dishes or laundry) to distract me. I can focus on the work at hand.
