Why did you title your first book A Faithful Son? Was there any possibility of another title?

Thanks for asking.

I liked exploring the idea of loyalty and faithfulness - outside of the religious term "faith". During the third year of writing the novel, I came across Patty Griffin's song "A Faithful Son". After my first hearing of the song, I knew I had my novel's title.

I would like to read "A Faithful Son", but I can only read ebooks (unfortunately, don't ask :) ) It appears to be that only paperbacks are available however. Is there a kindle/kobo whatever ebook format available?

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Michael Scott Garvin The best thing about being a writer is the momentary escape from my "real" life. I have a primary career which I love but it is nice escape when focusing on my next manuscript.

Michael Scott Garvin I love rereading the classics or listening to music.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Michael Scott Garvin Write for the love of it. Read the classics. Inspire yourself with art, music, films, and travel. And lastly, write, write, write and write more.
