Olivier Delaye First of all, thank you very much for getting my book. I really hope you’ll enjoy reading it and perhaps even write a review, which is always helpful for new authors like me! As for book 2, it will be released in 2019.
Olivier Delaye I'd go to the United Empire of Atlantis, the world I created in the Sebasten of Atlantis series. More precisely to Arkanzhia, the sunken city of the Merfolk, because that's where the second book, which I'm writing right now, is mainly set.
Olivier Delaye Thank you for you kind words, Coty. The response to The Forgotten Goddess has been amazing, and I’m really humbled by it. Book 2 should be ready in early 2017. I’m not a full-time writer yet, but writing is what I do when I’m not working, albeit slowly. Believe me, I am as anxious as you to be done with book 2, if only to start on book 3! Also, we’ve been working on a new cover for book 1, which should be ready in about a month.
Olivier Delaye Hey Naddy, thanks for your question!

My first book The Forgotten Goddess is available worldwide on Amazon only. But for reasons beyond my control, it's not available on Amazon China. So perhaps what you can do is order it on Amazon.com
(https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01DZSC1B4) and have it shipped to your Chinese address. That is, if you want to get it in paperback. If, however, you want to get the eBook, then, provided you can download eBooks without any problems in China, you'll get it directly on your Kindle, or, if you do not own a Kindle, on your tablet/PC/laptop/etc. After downloading and installing the free Kindle App whose link is located right under my book cover on Amazon entitled "READ ON ANY DEVICE," you'll be able
to read it anywhere on your tablet/PC/laptop/etc.

I know, it's a bit of a hurdle, and believe me, I wish it were easier for my readers based in China to get my book, but I'm afraid there's no way around it. Yet.

Take care and thank you so much for your interest in The Forgotten Goddess.
Olivier Delaye Wow, you're sailing dangerously close to spoiler territory with this hydra thing;-) To answer your question, yes, it was intentional. I have nothing against Fantasy using old English, thou's, thee's, maketh's, and whatnot to the author's heart's content, but I simply do not want to follow the trend in my Fantasy. Hence the more or less modern way my characters tend to talk and think. Same goes with the world of Atlantis, which I wanted to have both an ancient and modern/steampunk feel to it. It was a risk, but I'm glad I took it.
