Juliet Lyons Hi Jen, firstly thank you so much for your lovely review! Hadrian and Grace's story is standalone but I always intended for the series to continue by focusing on different characters in each book - much like my Bite Nights series. The next couple will be Esme and Michael and after that Hadrian's detective friend Guy. Grace and Hadrian will feature in some capacity but they won't be the main focus in any subsequent books. For example, Ronin and Catherine who feature at the end of the book in the big dramatic scene are main characters from my vampire series. H & G will definitely appear in this way in future stories. Sorry for rattling on. Quarantine is doing funny things to my brain :) Thank you again for your interest. Juliet xxx
Juliet Lyons Hi Janice. Unfortunately, yes, the publisher cancelled the paperback edition of That Killer Smile. The book is available as an eBook only. However, I'm going to be running a giveaway next week and the prize will be an ARC paperback edition of the book. I'd love it if you entered. I'll post here with more details when it's up and running.
Juliet Lyons Hi Janice, do you mean Ronin?

Ronin assumed the name 'Gregor McLaren' in the French Revolution to conceal his identity. Ronin and Cat have their own story in Book 3, 'That Killer Smile'.

Esme, I'm hoping we'll see more of too. I'm writing a new series with a bit of a crossover. Esme will be a secondary characher in this new story, and potentially have her own book in the second book if the series is ever picked up. :D
Juliet Lyons Yes, they are really demons. Their origins are explained in Book 3 which is Ronin's (Logan's Boss in book 1 and Vincent's maker in Book 2) story. :D
Juliet Lyons No. She didn't die. Her pulse was normal. He didn't check on her before he left because he was rattled. He probably should have... But there were other people there to check that night.
Juliet Lyons As a romance author, I have quite a few of these. But the ones that stand out in my mind would be Rhett Butler and Scarlett O'Hara in Gone with the Wind for their fire and passion.

A couple I can never get over is Robbie and Cecilia from Atonement. Their love story is one of the most heart wrenching I've ever read. I cry just thinking about it.
Juliet Lyons I am currently working on book 3 in the Undead Dating Service series, LOVING THE UNDEAD. Unlike the other two books in the series, my heroine is the vampire this time and the hero, an ancient demon. I'm really exploring their pasts and developing their amazing chemistry.
Juliet Lyons I was an aspiring writer for most of my childhood and all through my adult years. The key is not to 'aspire' any more. Do it. Become a writer. It's the only way.
Juliet Lyons The best thing about being a writer is being able to do the thing I love. Also, when someone likes what I've written, there's no better feeling.
Juliet Lyons Easy - I write. Some days you have to write through the pain until it all clicks into place again.
