I don't so much suffer from writer's block as a small voice in my head that says things like 'there's a very large pile of laundry in the bedroom and the lawn needs mowing.' I'm a procrastinator, but once I'm in the zone I'm fine.

The best thing about being a writer is that it gives you the opportunity to live many different lives. Entering that imaginative zone where ideas flow and characters come to life is the most satisfying and rewarding experience. Better than anything else!

Hi! I worked for a few years at Sothebys in London and I was inspired by the variety of people from different backgrounds, class and situation who walked through the door. Some of the people I worked with were inspiration for the characters too!
