I just pre-ordered your Worth Her Weight in Gold on Amazon. I asked the Goodreads Librarians to add it here... :-) How many pages does it have? And where would it be in the Hippo world—before, between or after the other two? Sorry, I‘m a nerd...

I just finished River of Teeth. Very funny and original. But I have a question, there's one thing I don't understand. Why Hero is treated always as if he is more than one person? Have I missed something?

Sarah Gailey Hero is one nonbinary person, who uses the gender-neutral pronoun 'they'.
