My biggest inspiration has always been and probably always will be Stephen King. My mom read parts to my brother and me when we were younger, and when I was old enough to read King myself, I devoured whatever I could get my hands on.

The idea for my most recent book—the one I'm still working on—came while I was at work. I work at my local library and was reading over some of the back covers of books that piqued my interest and led me to thinking of how there were thousands of different worlds to be transported to inside a single library.
