What are you currently working on?
Shannon Butler I'm working on a story within a story, about kids training to be superheroes, as well a book about Robin Hood.

How do you get inspired to write?
Shannon Butler Music mostly! I can hardly ever write without music. Usually I stick to film scores so I don't get distracted by singing along. And usually it takes one idea to really start me writing, and then I expand on that idea.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Shannon Butler I thought about memories, and how much they affect who we are as a person.
