I have two favorite fictional couples. One is from my favorite book and the other is from my favorite movie. Daisy and Jack from Linda Howard's Open Season are my favorites from a book. Daisy is an independent wall-flower and is unapologetic about who and what she is. Sure she changes her appearance but she never changes who she really is, she just presents herself to the world in a different way. As for Jack, he is the ultimate alpha male; the protector, and even though Daisy does not allow him to protect her the way he wants to they eventually work it out together. Also, my favorite fictional couple from a movie is Evie and Rick from The Mummy. Evie just like Daisy is very smart and independent and as much of a wall-flower as Daisy. I am not sure which one is the bigger troublemaker at the moment, but equally, they both cause additional stress on their perspective knights in shining armor which I adore. Rick and Jack both have to set aside their alpha-male personalities to both save and get the girl in the end.

I don't think there is one singular idea for anything I write. I tend to have several ideas floating around and whenever I sit down to write I pull from those ideas and what has recently influenced me. As for my most recent, Settling In, it was somewhat easier because I could piggyback and expand on a previous idea, Returning Home! In addition, I find that writing about things you enjoy and love you never really run out of ideas.

I like to take a break, relax, and have some fun. I choose things that are stress busters; karaoke is one of my favorites.
