My biggest block was procrastination, and the best answer I had for that is writing regularly in my blog. It gets you to be addicted to writing more and more.

The world is your oyster and much more than that; you can create a world that has never existed on any map and make it real. You can carry on the dream on paper while you are awake, and the characters you will create will be your best friends forever. Besides that, there is nothing that can beat a look of genuine admiration you see in the eyes of somebody whose heart has been touched by your words - nothing is more intoxicating.

Write every day. Write all the time. Don't think about how much money you are going to make from your writing, just think about improving your writing all the time. Don't isolate yourself and think nobody can understand you; if stories and poems do not come from people, about people, and for people, they are not stories at all. "I am a much better writer today than I was last year, and if I keep on like this, I will beat Shakespeare in no time." Keep telling that to yourself because nobody stands in the way of anybody's success but one's self.

I am working on my short story collection. I am still a couple of stories away from beginning the editing and publishing process. I hope my short story collection comes out sometime in June. I am also working on my novel, The City of the Dead, which is a dystopian fiction. I hope I can finish it in the first half of 2017.

I have been writing since I was very young. At the beginning, I just wanted to be famous, to be somebody. I am not saying that I don't want that anymore, but I have realized that I have a voice of my own, and I would like to share it with the world. I hope I can touch somebody's heart, and maybe, give someone a push to change who he/she is and, with that, the world. That's all I care about now.

Most of the poems came from stories and things I see around me every day, and some of them happened to me. I have learned to keep my ears and eyes open like a hunter, but I have been hunting a lot better game with my poetry, I hope.
