In 'The Witchfinder's Well', the heroine, Justine, is inspired by a series of short novels about a feisty Tudor adventuress called Mary Fox. I have started to write the first novel in the series, called 'Mary Fox and the Broken Sword', under the pen name of Sam Chelminski. I am also starting to plan out the sequel to 'The Witchfinder's Well', provisionally called 'The Alchemist's Arms'.

I've always loved writing - I think I was inspired as a small boy, but only really started when I wrote my first Musical in 1985.

I wrote a Musical in 1993 on this theme - so 'The Witchfinder's Well' has been written as if it were the book that the Musical came from.
