Richard Brant Peter Lake, from Mark Helprin's A Winter's Tale. Why? Because he's a thief who loves. A man who travels from one time period, to the next, all to herald the coming of a new millennium, and to finish off unfinished business. Brilliant character.
Richard Brant I don't really get writer's block. I might, on occasion, become frustrated with something I'm working on, especially if it isn't up to my standards, or isn't going in the direction I want. When that happens, often I'll switch to another story, just for the value of the break.
