Shelli Chosak If you have the desire to write, just start! Practice turning
off those messages in your head that tell you what you
have to express isn't important, you don't have time,
you aren't a good writer, etc. Writing is a craft that needs
to be honed and nurtured. As you write, you learn and grow.
If you have the desire, there's something inside crying out for
expression--don't ignore that.
Shelli Chosak Writer's block comes and goes, and sometimes I just
give it time to pass. At other times, I promise
myself I will just write a few sentences, and it
turns into a whole lot more. So I've learned that

own.
Shelli Chosak My writing inspiration comes from observing people and
situations as well as in-depth communication with others
that cause ideas to emerge from deep within, and well as
caring deeply about others.
Shelli Chosak Writing has been a lifelong passion for me--a way to
express much of my accumulated wisdom and to share
with others the benefit of my experience.
Shelli Chosak As a mother of three children (now adults) and as a
psychotherapist for over 25 years, I've spent a substantial
amount of my time learning about parent/child relationships.
Becoming a parent doesn't come with an instruction manual,
and results in many well-intentioned efforts going awry.
I wanted to share the benefits of my education and experience
with other parents.
