I have a lot of "recent books", actually. Most of them, a character starts speaking to me: I start feeling them in my bones, and seeing out of their eyes. Other books, I've gotten the idea from a bout of psychosis. I'm not a scary psychotic, don't worry, but I do have my struggles with irreality and writing them into stories helps me to process them.

Currently writing/revising the third installment of THE OTHER PLACE SERIES, which I just signed on with Limitless Publishing. It's a story about a heroin addict and a schizophrenic, about dreams and destiny colliding with the physical and social realities of the world.

Keep writing. Stay as positive as you can, though you will not always be able to. Learning how to write and getting published is a long slog, and then it's an even longer slog after that. But you'd be slogging anyway - you might as well write while you're doing it.

The best thing about being a writer is that the story follows you - the world around you has that tinge of beauty that you always see in a great narrative. Storytellers have the ability to weave the dream world in with the real one and create something eternal, something that makes sense, even amongst the dark chaos and grit.
