Brenda C. Poulos A shiver went up Natalie's spine as she grabbed the handle. Dare she open the door?
Brenda C. Poulos I'd go some place tropical and peaceful...lots of colorful butterflies, birds, etc. However, no snakes...yikes! I'd like to visit a fanciful world with no cares, worries, or traffic!!!
Brenda C. Poulos Jodi Piccolo's Small Little Things (or similar name) and the 3 book series from Beverly Lewis, Home to Hickory Hollow. I also have the new book by Tosca Lee in my stack, as well as Miranda Warning and Sharing Jesus (free ebooks from Amazon). My sis has a package of 3 political-type books she is sending my way, also. Can forward recommendations for one or all of these after I have read them. Lots to do and read for the next 3 months. Have a great summer.
Brenda C. Poulos Oh, My. I guess I would have to say that the only romance I read on a regular basis is Amish...so my answer would be any of the couples by Beverly Lewis. I read a couple of books per week, but usually Mystery/Suspense.
Brenda C. Poulos Currently, I am writing the story of a young couple who think they can do everything their way, without any help--or interference--from God.
Brenda C. Poulos I have a lot of stories in my head, so if I get stuck on one, I just pull out another one and work on it for awhile. I let my brain work on the first one in the background. Then, when I go back to it, I find that I can move forward. Sometimes I take a drive and let my mind wander. Oftentimes, I awake in the morning with a fresh idea or two.
Brenda C. Poulos The best thing is getting to do what I love every day and hearing that my writing has blessed others.
Brenda C. Poulos I write every day. It's what makes me happy. It gets my thoughts onto paper and reaffirms my feelings. I think of it like an interactive journal, of sorts. A person or a world event sometimes triggers my thoughts, but it's usually just a lot of looking deep inside and the desire to communicate what is there with others.
Brenda C. Poulos If you are compelled to write--if you NEED to write--for your happiness and well-being, then do it for YOURSELF. If others read it and are blessed by it, that is icing on the cake.
