First, I would say Jane Austin. Her ability to portray a detailed story and rich characters with mainly dialogue is astounding.
Secondly, Aaron Sorkin (the writer of TV series' such as the 'Newsroom' and films such as 'The American President') His talent for clever, intelligent dialogue, that makes you laugh and think at such a fast rate, still baffles my mind. I love intelligent comedy with a message.
Thirdly, Amy Sherman-Palladino (Writer of TV series' such as 'Gilmore Girls' and 'Bunheads') Her dialogue is quirky, clever, fast and if you blink, you'll miss the comedy.
See a pattern here? I love dialogue and the artistry in writing it well.
I'm throwing in one more, just for kicks. Shonda Rhimes (Writer of 'Scandal' TV series) - She can bind you with her intriguing monologues (with an unforeseen twist at the end) and just as quickly switch to a second lengthy monologue without boring you, making you think about it long after the character has stopped talking.

Unfortunately, I did not find love in Paris myself, but I do believe the city is a magical place where anything is possible...especially love. The setting is just so perfect for romance. Hence my decision to place my main character there.

I entered NaNoWriMo in 2013 and was looking for a concept to start this new story which could enable me to write 50 000 words in 30 days. A friend of mine said to put a woman in the middle of the biggest music concert in Europe. I then had to figure out who this woman was, why was she there, and what was her goal. It all came together from there. The first draft of my book was finished when I completed 50 000 words in 30 days!
