H.R. Sealy Hmmm, that's sort of a strange question but I will do my best to answer it. I think Elijah my donkey is a lot more annoying than my siblings. Plus he's awesome and loads of fun to write about. I hope that answers your question dear reader. That is, if you were fortunate enough to buy a copy of Miss Benjamin Had a Donkey. Then you would know exactly what I mean.
H.R. Sealy Great question, and the answer is yes, most definitely. Miss Benjamin Had a Donkey is the first book in a three part series. I am currently halfway through writing the second book and it is going to be a blast. I keeled over laughing last night, when I rewrote a scene in which the donkey rode a stolen motorbike straight into the back of a parked police car and promptly got arrested.
H.R. Sealy I got the idea for my most recent book out of the magic well in my back yard. I send the empty bucket down into the well, and when I draw it back up, the bucket is over flowing with wild imaginative ideas. That's how I do it.
H.R. Sealy I'm easily inspired because I live, breathe and eat, writing. It brings me joy. There's nothing like the feeling of my pen gliding across my notebook or legal pad as I bring imaginary characters to life.
H.R. Sealy The sequel to my first published children's book, Miss Benjamin Had a Donkey.
H.R. Sealy Keep writing. write every day. You'll become a better writer as time goes by.
H.R. Sealy The answer to that one is easy. Getting to see the look of joy on the face of a child or one of my readers when they tell me they've read my book, loved it, and want to know how soon the next one in the series will be published.
H.R. Sealy Don't think I've ever really had it. I'm working on a lot of different manuscripts. So if one story line is giving problems, I simply move on to the next.
