Is it okay to start with just one book? When I look at the website, it looks like the books might be too intensely religious for me. I'm willing to give it a try with one book.

Darlene Melcher Do what you are made to do. Don't try to be something you are not. READ, read, read. Write when you have the ideas...don't let them get cold, even if you just jot notes down.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Darlene Melcher Encouraging others is what I am meant to do. Encouragement can be like a soft hug or a wack on the shoulder...as long as it directs a person in a good path.

What are you currently working on?
Darlene Melcher I'm currently working with Crystal Sea Books to design the Purposeful Prayers series.
I'm also adding to the blog Crystal Clear, on a weekly basis at www.crystalseabooks.com
Also in the works is a fiction novel that I'm writing that is a young Adult fantasy.

How do you get inspired to write?
Darlene Melcher The study guide I have written were inspired by the corresponding novels, by my own Bible study and much prayer. I'm currently working on a fiction novel that was inspired by a vivid dream that I had years ago.
