Janet Lintala Over the years at my clinic, I've watched my young patients transition into wonderful teens and adults. As they come of age to drive, I've had to connect them to resources to overcome the specific barriers they have to driving. So many autistic adults and parents of autistic teens tell me they wish they had a driving manual on how to get a drivers license, and it finally hit me - I could do this!

It is turning out to be a fun project, and I am excited that it could help so many autistic teens and adults get their drivers license, an essential tool for independence and self-realization.

I welcome feedback on the barriers to driving that autistic teens and adults may face!
