Sunny Weber How I became a specialist in rehabilitating fearful dogs. . .what was it about the deep mechanations of fear on the brain that brought about my intimate empathy and understanding of how the emotional inability to communicate results in isolation any social animal.
Sunny Weber I would go to the ranch sanctuary where my third children's book, "From Wild to Mild: A Dog in Two Worlds," takes place.

I have always wanted to live on a ranch/farm with oddles of space, beautiful scenery, and tons of animals--especially rejected/special needs ones.

I love barns, fields, woods, and big old farm houses. I would enjoy the quiet, serenity, and natural beauty of being outside of a town/city.

Sunny Weber Follow your passion and write, write, write. However, don't present your work publicly until you let it simmer for a while--especially if you've written out of passion. Sometimes writing is a method of venting and not all your emotions should or need to be made public. These days, once your thoughts, opinions, and words are "out there," there is no retrieving them.
Sunny Weber I have a middle-grade fiction book ready for editing and then publication. After that, I've got a non-fiction dog walking book in progress.
Sunny Weber My inspiration comes unbidden. When I see a situation or issue that needs a voice of reason, my words begin to percolate. I feel special motivation when an animal needs a voice in the human world.
Sunny Weber Following over 25 years of working professionally with dog behavior, it became obvious that the most rejected and overlooked dogs in shelters and rescues were the fearful, shy, timid dogs, especially if their discomfort escalated into fear aggression. In order to help save the most commonly euthanized dogs, I decided to specialize in the behavior modification of them. I found that when treated properly and provided safe environments, these dogs were willing to give humans another chance and were the most devoted to the person who gave them a chance in return.
