I talk with friends, and with my editor. In most cases it opens the block. When it does not, I simply force myself to write, knowing the next day I will throw away everything, but then from the "bad" writing emerge new ideas. One thing I never do is waiting for the muse to arrive.

I start by an extensive research on the subject I decide to write about. Once the twists I can use in my book are clear, I simply write 8-10 hours a day. At this stage it is less inspiration but rather hard work and discipline.

With more than 30 years experience in the high tech world, I was always fascinated by technologies, especialy those that can change our lives. Brain research (my first book), Cyber (my second) and Genetics (my last book to be published on May, 2018) fall under this category.
