Good question ... for me I tend to lay all that I have aside and let my mind calm down, chill out and just read books, magazines and watch the news or sports on TV. Many times these things will ignite a spark and then I'll be back at the keyboard typing away on a new and exciting story line. A note: resting the mind at times helps to reboot your thinking process and your inspiration then can flow once again.

The best thing about being a writer is coming up with new worlds, characters and being able to travel along with your character and escape the world I live in for a while.

Write and keep writing. Start with short stories then advance to longer stories. But that's not to say that if your story get long or is a novella, don't stop. Find your niche, get your inspiration from around you and get writing.

Presently I am working on book three of the Thad Damous Series. It's called, Thad Damous and the Q-Princess. I won't give out more than that as I don't want to spoil the story line for anyone.

I got inspired to write because I loved to read and tell stories. Besides, I have a lot of stories running through my head that I can't get out fast enough and down onto paper. Some ideas, inspirations, come from watching the news and seeing what NASA has discovered ...

Honestly, I don't know where the idea came from ... it just did. My original intent was to write the books for my nephew, but then my sister had triplets and so the story line continues.
