Shannon Nemechek Yes, of course. Going to the bookstore and they are all out of books.
Shannon Nemechek Scarlett o'hara and Rhett Butler is my ultimate favorite. I think the banter between the two characters is perfect and even though in the end Rhett leaves Scarlett somewhere in the back of your mind you know he will come back to her. Not sure if that makes sense but sure does it me. Lol
Shannon Nemechek I walk away and take a break. I may take a day or two then come back to writing. Usually by that time I have had time in the shower to think of ideas. (yes I think in the shower) ha ha.
Shannon Nemechek I love telling a story and creating a world and a relationship between two people that readers will fall in love with or hate. Isn't it great when a reader tells you that they love or hate a character? I love it.
Shannon Nemechek Oh my I would say don't give up and keep writing. Find a great Editor and edit, edit and edit. If you love writing, it will happen, if not make it happen.
Shannon Nemechek I am currently working on the second in the Warranted Series "Warranted Desires" due out in Summer of 2016. I will be giving hints to the story periodically so pay attention to my blog posts. :-)
Shannon Nemechek I love observing people and I read a lot of romance novels as well as I am a big science fiction nerd. I love the relationship and the feeling of new love.
Shannon Nemechek I started work on Warranted Pleasures in Fall of 2010 the idea actually came from basically observing soldier and relationships in the Army. The book is of course all fiction but does reflect some relationships I have seen in the Army. Those relationships that are against Army regulations but still occur sometimes people can't help who they fall in love with. As most have seen with some past very public relationships that have been covered by national media.

I worked on the book for about 2 months and put it down until April 2015 when I picked it back up after retiring from the Army. It is difficult to write a book while serving in the army mainly because it must go through an approval process through the chain of command before it can be published. Now that I am retired well I don't need that approval and can focus on these as well as other relationships. Love shouldn't have boundaries and my books will focus on overcoming the boundaries despite all the odds against them.
