Erika Armstrong Count Laszlo de Almasy (The English Patient) and Katharine Clifton. It's perfect love - forbidden, passionate, exotic - and they never have a chance to get mad at each other for leaving dirty socks on the floor...
Erika Armstrong HI Gary! I'm not sure of the exact numbers, but I can tell you that about 6% of airline pilots are women. Doesn't seem like much, but it's better than it was 15 years ago - and it's growing. Thanks for the question.

Cheers,
Erika
Erika Armstrong I lived it and sometimes, life is definitely stranger than fiction...
Erika Armstrong If I waited to be inspired, I'd never write. Usually I tell myself that if I can get most of my work done by 2 pm, I'll reward myself with a mocha latte.
Erika Armstrong I'm always writing. I write for several aviation magazines, but I also have two books in the works. Quietly and The Book Club Warriors.
Erika Armstrong Don't take advice from other writers. The point of being a writer is to do it your way.
Erika Armstrong The world often forgets the power of the written word. Journalists, writers, and authors decide what the rest of the world sees and hears and through the writer's lens, opinions are formed, cultures are defined and wars are started or stopped. I can sit in my office at 8,700 feet in Colorado and change the opinion of someone in China. Never underestimate the power of a writer.
Erika Armstrong I make myself not open up Facebook...or any other app on my computer. Those are just shiny object that pulls your attention away. There is no such thing as writer's block, just distractions. However, if I'm having a day when everything I write sucks, I usually take my dogs for a walk.
