Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Autumn Sand To be honest with you I am not sure. This book was originally meant to be a three part series of what I thought was to be an epic love story. When I had book 1 reviewed by beta readers it was epically shot down. So I had to go back to the drawing board and begin again. Bedlam has certain elements of my initial idea but not by much. It is a toned down version of what I had in mind. So the idea of this book I guess took place as I was writing and whatever emotions I was feeling at the time.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Autumn Sand Never give up on your dream. It's hard work but it is worth it.

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Autumn Sand So far every time I have had writer's block it was because the story was not going in the right direction. Basically I would have to remove myself from the story for a day or two and come back to it with a fresh perspective.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Autumn Sand To see my imagination played out on paper. I always have a general idea of where I want the story to go before I apply it to paper. It is when I am actually typing out my thoughts when the story fully comes to life and that is the best part for me. That and hopefully positive reviews from readers.
