Foremost, one has to persevere. Then get into the story till you actually emote with your characters. Draw your reader into the story such that he feels ‘part’ of the events and emotionally empathises with the characters portrayed.

The hawk Hunters was a story that hunted me & compelled me to give voice to it!
In the early 18th Century, Banda Singh Bahadur liberated present Punjab & Haryana starting with just 20 soldiers. I learnt about this feat when I happened to visit his birthplace in a border town in J&K. Fascinated, I delved into history to discover how he achieved this remarkable feat. 'The Hawk Hunters' is a result of that quest!
