Reading is my main inspiration (the Bible and other novels). Being outdoors in a nature-filled area inspires me also; and even watching movies because I imagine my stories being made into movies :)

Creating a whole new world with my story (soon-to-be stories) and being able to share it with the real world. Also, the flexibility of the schedule because it's basically done at my own discretion.

I force myself to write. I sit at my computer, stare at it for a good while, then start typing pretty much whatever comes to mind. Once I do this, the story seems to start naturally developing and then I'm no longer stuck in the writer's block realm :)

The idea for my book series was inspired by my daughter, Bryshona, who has the vitiligo skin condition. I was also inspired by the bible and nature.

I am currently working on book #2 of the Calico Reign series. I hope to have it finished and published by Spring 2016. :)
