"Bobby Stitch" reflects my life-long interest in boxing and the brave, complex people who choose to make it their passion and profession. The book is dedicated to the memory of one fighter in particular, Rudell Stitch, a true hero in every regard. What has fascinated me most about prizefighters is what seems the common element in their motivation to pursue a career in such a demanding and potentially dangerous sport: inner rage.

Currently, I am working on a novel tentatively titled "Chica, Alejandro, and a Girl Named Angel". It is told in three parts, each with a different narrator. Part One is told from the pov of Alejandro, a pit bull. Part Two is from the main human character Angel's pov. Part Three is narrated by Chica, a blind, abandoned Chihuahua. The story involves how their lives come together in mutually life-saving ways.
