First place I'll go to would be Takamagahara as a noble Ayakashi, then I'll cultivate my aura by mastering as many techniques as possible while there, so that my ranking among the Kami would rise.

After racking my brain for so long, I still can't find anything in my personal life that could be used to write a mystery book.

It depends on the context, for instance I'll have gone with Sesshomaru-sama and Rin (Inuyasha)because in a few years down the line(humanly speaking)they would have made a great couple but the story didn't flow that way. Misaki and Usagi( Junjou Romantica)were my favorite, but they are what most would call unconventional. Nanami and Tomoe-sama(Kamisama Hajimemashita), I'm choosing this because their love seems almost impossible, that is a kitsune and a human getting together, nevertheless I know they will work out.

There are so many animes with yokai, ayakashi themed stories, to mention a few are Noragami, Kamisama Hajimemashita. Each author or mangaka have a unique way of telling their story which inspires me to create my own version of what the ayakashi and yokai world is supposed to be, since this is purely fantasy; at times I get a little carried away.

Hi Minie, I love Kamisama Hajimemashita, I still follow the manga and also the anime including the OVA, Kamisama kako-hen. It was through it that the inspiration to write Hikari and Hikari Okami:Kitsune Series came to be, Katsugami which is the ayakashi tale is the sequel. Do you watch Nurarihyon no mago and the sennen makyou?

Hi Anish, the inspiration to write Hikari came from various sources, its good you mentioned Naruto but unfortunately I never thought of that, I'm thinking its because you saw "kitsune" in my book description. Hikari is basically a look into the yokai"demon" world (ayakashi, kitsune, kamis...). I sincerely hope you'll enjoy the story once you beginning reading, I'll love to hear from you again.

Hikri's story was written from the perspective of one who believes that being different doesn't necessarily mean a bad thing, because one way or the other there would be that one being/person that would truly understand,

The story Hikari was written partly from my point of view, in that when two beings from extremely different worlds come together; there is a sort of friction which in most times doesn't lead to happiness. As an aspiring author, manga/anime fan there are things that have observed; each creator/mangaka/author is responsible for what they view as happiness in their story. That is why even though Hikari is an impossible love tale between a kitsune and a human, yet it is the responsibility of each and everyone to find their own definition of happiness. This is the view from which Hikari was written.

Hi Dakota Lane, in a way I'm a visual person but regretfully the skill to illustrate isn't my strong point.Whenever the opportunity comes to animate or illustrate my work, I'll gladly go for it.

Hikari Okami: Kitsune Series and Hikari which concludes the kitsune series, the inspiration came from watching and falling in love with Julietta Suzuki's Kamisama Hajimemashita main characters Tomoe (kitsune) and Nanami (human)

Watching anime is a source of inspiration for my writing.
Lolah Runda
The story centers on an ayakashi "phantom" which is a type of yokai "demon" but one of the main characters is an ayakashi from the noble house, who has to carry out the ancient tradition while maintaining a safe distance from a certain human.

Don't ever give up, try to be yourself as much as possible and rejection doesn't mean that you don't have what it takes to be a writer, instead see it as a chance to dig deeper for new ideas.

Bringing new characters to life is one of the best things about being a writer.

Anytime I feel this way, I'll watch anime which would in one way or the other bring new ideas to me.
