Not a mystery as such, but my own family life and childhood due could make for a cathartic and emotional write I think, and I have considered it. I will likely write it as a fictional piece at some point.

A new novel! I am 10k words in, and I am quite excited about this one, even though it is proving more difficult to write, as one of the characters is refusing to talk to me! Hehe.

I undertook a short creative writing course last year, and the final challenge was to write a short story for submission and critique. A few months afterwards, I was re-reading it, and I began to think about how the story could easily be expanded to novel length.
As I started to write, however, the characters evolved into two completely different people, and pretty much wrote the story for me!
