Pamela Wechsler Hi Sherry - Thanks for your question. Book three is in the works. I finished a draft and it's with my publisher. I expect it to be out in May of 2018. I hope you enjoy it!

What books are on your summer reading list this year?
Pamela Wechsler I just started reading My Brilliant Friend by Elena Ferrante. Next up is American Heiress by Jeff Toobin. And I'm making my way through The Best American Short Stories edited by Junot Diaz.

Just finished your new release and have read Mission Hill. Your publisher was kind enough to send me your novels. I will post my reviews soon. Has she has proved herself survivor and good at her job to get her father to stop meddling in her life and let her be part of the family? After all you shown he is not perfect either and I think his wife may have be the one who is embarrassed about her work.

Like most people, Abby has a complicated relationship with her parents. And of course, no one is perfect, including her father. In the third book, Abby will continue to struggle both personally and professionally as she continues to investigate and prosecute Boston's dangerous killers.

What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?
Pamela Wechsler I spent seventeen years as a criminal prosecutor--the plots for my books are often fictionalized versions of the mysteries from my own life.

If you were thinking of traveling back to the Boston area, the Duxbury Free Library, in collaboration with Westwinds Bookshop, would love to host you! We have presented many debut authors, and helped launch a few! Dennis Lehane and Jodi Picoult came here long before their names became integrated into our cultural and literary lexicon! I have Mission Hill on hold-can't wait to read it! Please say you'll come?
